GW Summer Scholars offers opportunities to learn from renowned GW instructors alongside GW undergraduates from around the country and the world while you take advantage of the exciting resources of Washington, DC. Study at the Gelman Library, exercise in the 5-story Lerner Fitness Center, and explore the cultural, historical and political riches of Washington, DC.
6-Week Pre-College Program – Earn GW credits. Live with your peers and study with undergraduates. Experience college life first hand and explore the city. Open to current 11th grade students.
10-Day Mini-Courses – Explore about what it’s like to study and work in a particular field though classroom lectures, nationally and internationally known guest speakers and on-site visits to such places as the US Capitol, the Newseum, foreign embassies, federal courthouses and the National Geographic headquarters. Open to current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students.
